Accommodation Rules

Smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks, fighting and spitting are strictly prohibited in the campus, and have Zero tolerance.

If any student is found indulged in the above-mentioned activities or misbehaving, he/she will be expelled from the Youth Festival immediately, and the fee paid by him/her will be forfeited.

No guest or visitor of the inmate will be permitted to visit their rooms. 

The timings to enter the hostel in the night shall be fixed by the organizing committee based on the event timings. No participant shall be allowed to enter the Accommodation Hall once the time deadline is over. 

No student should use the service of an Accommodation Hall servant for personal work, even on payment. He should not bring any servant from outside even temporarily.

The residents are not permitted to change the room allotted to them. But, they can be changed at the discretion of the authorities.

Allotment of the room, furniture etc. will be entirely at the discretion of the organizing committee of the 38th AIU Inter-University South East Zone Youth Festival, and no complaint in this regard will be entertained.

No nuisance of any kind shall be made at any time in the Accommodation Hall premises, like playing loud music/attending telephone call/games, etc.

Throwing of water, colour etc. on another person or on the walls / property of the Accommodation Hall is strictly prohibited.

Students are not allowed to play any kind of sports in the room.

Every case of illness and accident must be reported immediately to the Accommodation Hall in charge.  In case of any Serious health issue, medical history of the inmate to be disclosed by the parents/guardians, and they should make themselves available on Emergency, or on Call from the Authorities.

No poster should be put up anywhere, either in rooms or lobbies.

All matters relating to difference of opinion among students, and complaints about Accommodation Hall servants should be brought to the notice of the in charge who will take actions as it may be necessary.

Students are expected to switch off the lights and fans in their rooms every time they go out, and take precautions to economize electricity consumption. 

Every student must keep the room allotted to him/her clean and neat. He/ She should take proper care of the furniture and fixtures handed over to him/her. Accommodation Hall in charge have the right to enter and inspect the rooms at any time, even in the absence of students.

Students who have found spoiling the Accommodation Hall property by any means will be penalized by Paying Fine.

Charges for any damages to the property as well as to the furniture and fixtures caused by a student will be recovered from the student/students staying in the room.

Every student staying in the room will be held responsible for any broken items in flats/room, and all are required to contribute for its repair.

Student should not drive nails, screws etc. into the wall or doors. No repair shall be done by the students themselves. They should approach the Accommodation Hall incharge who will arrange for repairs.

The Authorities do not hold themselves responsible for the safe custody of the property of the students staying in the Accommodation Hall. Students should keep their belongings under lock and key, and should take proper care of their belongings. They should not leave the key of the room anywhere around.

If the student takes night out without prior permission, the admission to Accommodation Hall will be terminated with immediate effect.

No music system/Speakers are allowed in Accommodation Hall.  

Any complaint (Such as indecent/Noisy behavior) from the University Security personnel/neighbors/society will result in disciplinary action.

No food items are permitted in the Hostel Rooms.

Students are not permitted to enter any other Blocks.

No kettles and other electric or any other cooking range are permitted inside the accommodation hall.
